In der Stadt Korsun-Schewtschenkiwskyj gibt es keine Fahrzeuge zum Transport von gehandicapten Menschen. Insbesondere gibt es keine adäquate Transportmöglichkeit für Rollstuhlfahrer*innen. Kriegsbedingt ist die Zahl der Menschen, die angemessene Transportmöglichkeiten brauchen, in der jüngsten Vergangenheit angestiegen. Mit einem weiteren Anstieg ist zu rechnen. Mit diesem Projekt soll dem genannten Personenkreis eine Teilhabe am Stadtleben und eine Unterstützung im Alltag ermöglicht werden. Dazu soll von der Stadt Gifhorn ein entsprechend umgebautes Fahrzeug erworben und der Partnerstadt übereignet werden. Das Fahrzeug wird dann von der Stadt Korsun-Schewtschenkiwskyj entsprechend eingesetzt. Es ist geplant, sofern die Sicherheitslage dies zulässt, das Fahrzeug mit einer Delegation zu überführen.
There are no vehicles in the city of Korsun-Shevchenkivskyi for transporting people with disabilities. In particular, there are no adequate transport options for wheelchair users. Due to the war, the number of people who need appropriate transport options has risen in recent times. A further increase is to be expected. This project aims to enable the aforementioned group of people to participate in city life and provide them with support in their everyday lives. To this end, the town of Gifhorn will purchase a suitably converted vehicle and transfer ownership to its twin town. The vehicle will then be used by the town of Korsun-Shevchenkivskyi as appropriate. The plan is to transfer the vehicle with a delegation, if the security situation permits.
