XM-DAC-47059-P24-0044 International Development Law Organization (IDLO) 1) To advance the effectiveness and accountability-driven institutional changes of Ukrainian judicial administration. 2) To improve professionalism, fairness, and inclusion in the work of Ukraine’s judicial administration. 3) To facilitate merit-based and time-efficient selection of new High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) judges. 4) To establish transparently the Specialized Administrative Court. 5) To carry out timely and fair assessment of sitting judges’ qualification. 6) To provide institutional support to the Public Integrity Council (PIC). 7) To enhance institutional capacities and autonomy of the High Council of Justice (HCJ) and Service of Disciplinary Inspectors (SDI). 8) To assess HCJ and SDI with proper, fair, and transparent case prioritization. 9) To carry out transparent one-time vetting of the Supreme Court of Ukraine. 10) To select the new Head of the Customs of Ukraine and facilitate subsequent reform steps at the Customs. 11) To facilitate transparent and meritocratic selection of the State Judicial Administration (SJA) leadership and rebooting of the SJA. 12) To facilitate elimination of gender and social discrimination practices in Ukraine’s judicial and public sector institutions. Direct beneficiaries: The High Qualification Commission of Judges (HQCJ), the High Council of Justice (HCJ), the Service of Disciplinary Inspectors (SDI), the Public Council of International Experts (PCIE), the Public Integrity Council (PIC), the High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC), the Supreme Court of Ukraine, the Customs Service of Ukraine, the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, and the Government of Ukraine.Indirect beneficiaries: Ukrainian population at large.
