The total number of workpersons is 45,500, the total number of jobs created is 850 and the total of agricultural lands covered is 9395 ha. - The construction of Irrigation Network and Hill lake in Jezzine and Fneidik is completed. Agricultural lands covered are around 2,480 ha, workperson days are 10,940 and jobs created are 246. KFW phase IV.2: - The construction of Concrete Irrigation Canals and Networks in Qlayaat, Laboueh, Boudai, Hasbaya and Meryata is 100% completed. The total number of workperson is 46,450, the total number of jobs created is 920 and the total number of agricultural lands covered is 6,990 ha. - Anjar irrigation canals bid is launched; - Continue identification of additional sites for the construction of irrigation canals and networks or the construction of hill lakes. Phases VI.3 and VI.4 were approved by the donor, and related agreements were signed. Phase IV.4 aiming at the construction of additional irrigation canals and hill lakes, the implementation of rainwater harvesting systems and water efficiency systems, and also addressing construction and demolition waste after Beirut Port explosion will be initated in 2021. Phase IV.3 will start in year 2022. The ?number of short-term jobs is 331 (among them 216 females).? ?- A consultant was hired with the aim of writing a report to propose a PV system ?solution for the pumps installed for the rainwater harvesting system in the ?targeted schools in Akkar and the possibility of benefiting from the systems ?installed to run other installations when the pumps are not working. ?
