The specific objective of the development engagement with UNECA is to contribute to negotiations and to enhance the capacity of member states and RECs to develop and implement policies and programmes in the areas of intra-African trade with clear green ambitions, and create an environment conducive to attracting investments through enhanced competition policies.</narrative>
