Only FIs who have a strategy to work more with the agriculture sector are admitted as partners, and their capabilities are strengthened both by aBi reducing the risk of engaging in the agriculture sector, whereby the institutions obtain experience with the sector, and by providing training and capacity development on a matching grant basis through the Financial Sector Development.
