NL-KVK-83517626-TA16S003A Invest International B.V. The Forest Effect Fund (FEF) is a Dutch private equity fund, part of the ‘fund-in-fund’ of the Dutch Good Growth Fund. The Fund focusses on entrepreneurs active in the agri-commodity food chain of coffee, cacao, nuts, fruits and palm oil in developing countries and emerging markets. In addition to making good returns on investment the purpose of the fund is to generate local 'impact' measurable in terms of job creation, knowledge transfer and production growth in the agri-commodity food chain.Technical Assistance is provided to the fund by DGGF-TA / the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) for the period 2016-2021 by contracting an expert in private equity to help to set-up and manage the fund.The activities under the TA include:1) support to set-up of the fund, stakeholder investment profiles and portfolio development in 2016, 2) the investment period, implementation phase and portfolio management between 2017-2019 and3) the development and implementation of a sustainable exit strategy for the investment portfolio and fund network between 2020-2021.The project is currently ongoing and has already led to 3 investments in emerging markets.
