NL-KVK-27108436-A-05713-15:NE Oxfam Novib The present project of capacity building of the groups of young men and women in the management and prevention of conflicts will take place in the commune of Mainé-Soroa, Foulatari and N'Guel Beyli at the level of 15 villages. For 12 months activities that will help pacify this region and ensure that these clashes are transferred to the department of Mainé-Soroa where farmers and ranchers live in very tense situations for ten years. Our federation is made up of groups of breeders from several ethnic groups and pastoralists and agropastoralists. They are scattered in the communes of Mainé-Soroa, Foulatari and N'Guel Beyli. The project has three specific objectives which are: To bring young men and women members of the groups to know the main provisions of the rural code and the pastoral code, To reinforce the capacities of the populations on the nonviolent management of the conflicts and the peaceful coexistence, To inform and to sensitize the populations (the community leaders, the young men and women members of the groups on the peaceful coexistence in popularization the texts and laws (rural code and pastoral code) through the organization of foras, caravans of sensitization and the radio debates. Fédération Jinitare-Fotbe The federation JINITARE was created in the department of Mainé-Soroa in 2012 by 59 groups of young people which totaled 1062 young members including 288 young women. The reasons for the creation of the federation is to be a force to defend the interests of youngmen and women who are absent in the determination of rights over land and other resources.
