NL-KVK-27108436-A-04857-08:VN Oxfam Novib This project aim to support both men and women have equal access to and control over resources as a result of gender sensitive tax policies and gender budgeting process. This project will focus on building capacity for civil society actors and youth representatives on taxation and gender equality so that they can be proactive to advocate for company income tax and value added tax with gender responsiveness. Furthermore, they will play an active role to sensitize public about gender budgeting as well as influence decision makers on state expenditure with gender perspective. Three key strategies are applied in implementation process including: networking, raising awareness and policy advocacy. CEPEW will be the bridge to network with experts, civil society actors, youth groups working on gender equality, human rights and budget transparency to participate in communication and policy advocacy. For public education, CEPEW and other organizations, mentioned-above groups will be trained about budget processto design communication documents; organize workshops, forums, talkshows and debates; communicate with local/national press and various fanpage of CEPEW and other organizations in social network. To advocate for gender responsive management of state budget, youth groups and CSOs# young officers will implement 2 researches about gender influence on revenue # expenditure, GRB MOCK, making recommendations and speaking out for gender responsive budgeting followed state agenda and document advocacy process. One communication strategy will be built at the time of implementing project, so that CEPEW and youth group together implement in project process. This strategy includes dissertation about GRB, using various media and different people will impart those information Center for Education Promotion and Empowerment of Women (CEPEW) is a Vietnamese Non-governmental organization established in 1997.
