NL-KVK-27108436-000123 Oxfam Novib Over the past decade disasters in Cambodia have largely been natural and a threat to livelihoods rather than to life and security directly. The impact of floods and drought has increased due to climate change. Poor people, especially women and small scale farmers, are particularly vulnerable. This includes both rural and increasingly (semi-)urban areas. The aim of this program is to increase the resilience of this target group in selected provinces through an integrated approach of adaptive agriculture, value chain development, financial safety net, disaster risk reduction and emergency response if and when required. Gender Justice is at the heart of all our work. The Resilience programme focuses on vulnerable small-scale (female) farmers in selected areas, to better prepare and enable them to cope with climate change and natural disasters, especially floods and droughts.
