Rice Bakanae disease, caused by the pathogen Fusarium fujikuroi, leads to reduced rice productivity. Traditional chemical disinfectants have increased pathogen resistance, environmental pollution, and human health issues, necessitating this project. The project includes the following: Technology Development and Local Implementation] Development of seed disinfection technology using B. cepacia JK11 and local field trials in collaboration with farms in the Suphan Buri region, analysis of technological effects, and determination of the optimal disinfection method. Training and practice sessions on seed disinfection methods for local farmers and experts, distribution of educational materials, and operation of regular training sessions.
