   <narrative xml:lang="FR">Le projet vise &#xe0; am&#xe9;liorer les conditions de vie des femmes et des hommes des communaut&#xe9;s rurales membres de coop&#xe9;ratives foresti&#xe8;res au Moyen Atlas et au Plateau Oriental du Maroc. Le projet cible particuli&#xe8;rement les femmes membres des coop&#xe9;ratives de romarin et de c&#xe8;dre.  Le projet vise &#xe0; am&#xe9;liorer les conditions de vie de 10 000 b&#xe9;n&#xe9;ficiaires directs et indirects des communaut&#xe9;s vuln&#xe9;rables rurales qui sont membres de dix coop&#xe9;ratives foresti&#xe8;res. Le projet a pour but d&#x2019;am&#xe9;liorer la performance des coop&#xe9;ratives foresti&#xe8;res de travail &#xe0; g&#xe9;n&#xe9;rer des emplois d&#xe9;cents et durables, dont au moins 2 000 pour les femmes, en soutenant des activit&#xe9;s de gestion et de transformation durables du romarin et du c&#xe8;dre. Le projet soutient &#xe9;galement ces coop&#xe9;ratives dans la diversification de leurs activit&#xe9;s &#xe9;conomiques et dans la cr&#xe9;ation et l&#x2019;am&#xe9;lioration de services durables r&#xe9;pondant aux besoins diff&#xe9;renci&#xe9;s de leurs membres.  Les activit&#xe9;s du projet comprennent: 1) mettre en &#x153;uvre un programme de sensibilisation diffus&#xe9; aux femmes et hommes membres sur l&#x2019;importance et les b&#xe9;n&#xe9;fices de rapports &#xe9;galitaires au sein du m&#xe9;nage; 2) offrir un programme de formation champs &#xe9;coles r&#xe9;alis&#xe9; particuli&#xe8;rement aupr&#xe8;s des femmes sur les op&#xe9;rations d&#x2019;am&#xe9;nagement durable du c&#xe8;dre et du romarin; 3) fournir un programme de formation diffus&#xe9; aux personnes &#xe9;lues et gestionnaires sur la participation &#xe9;galitaire des femmes au sein des coop&#xe9;ratives; 4) fournir un appui et des conseils aux personnes &#xe9;lues sur l&#x2019;&#xe9;laboration de plans d&#x2019;affaires et de financement des coop&#xe9;ratives; 5) r&#xe9;aliser des analyses technico-&#xe9;conomiques effectu&#xe9;es avec le D&#xe9;partement des Eaux et For&#xea;ts du Maroc sur les possibilit&#xe9;s commerciales au profit des coop&#xe9;ratives foresti&#xe8;res.</narrative>
   <narrative xml:lang="EN">The project aims to improve the living conditions of women and men in rural communities who are members of forestry cooperatives in the Middle Atlas and the Eastern Plateau of Morocco. The project targets women members of rosemary and cedar cooperatives, in particular.  The project aims to improve the well-being of 10,000 direct and indirect beneficiaries belonging to vulnerable rural communities, members of ten forestry cooperatives. The project aims to improve the performance of forestry cooperatives to create and sustain decent jobs, including at least 2,000 jobs for women, by supporting sustainable management and processing of rosemary and cedar. Furthermore, the project supports these cooperatives in the diversification of their economic activities and in the creation and improvement of sustainable services that meet the differentiated needs of their members.  Project activities include: (1) rolling-out an awareness program for the beneficiaries on the importance and benefits of egalitarian relationships within the household; (2) offering a field-school training program aimed particularly at women on sustainable management operations for cedar and rosemary; (3) providng a training program to elected officials and managers on the equal participation of women in cooperatives; (4) providing support and advice to elected officials on the development of business plans and cooperative financing; and (5) carrying out technical and economic analyzes with the Department of Water and Forests of Morocco on the commercial potential of forestry cooperatives.</narrative>

Par ailleurs, 857 personnes, dont 462 femmes, se sont inscrites aux formations des Champs &#xc9;cole SOCODEVI; 2) une consolidation des acquis de 432 membres de coop&#xe9;ratives, dont 232 femmes sur l&#x2019;importance et les b&#xe9;n&#xe9;fices de rapports &#xe9;galitaires au sein du m&#xe9;nage, notamment sur la r&#xe9;partition &#xe9;quitable des t&#xe2;ches domestiques, les masculinit&#xe9;s positives, les violences bas&#xe9;es sur le genre, et sur les op&#xe9;rations d&#x2019;am&#xe9;nagement durable et de conditionnement du c&#xe8;dre et du romarin; 3) une formation des membres de 5 coop&#xe9;ratives et 2 unions (68 membres, dont 10 femmes) sur l&#x2019;Approche PerformCoop; 4) une r&#xe9;alisation de 3 plans d&#x2019;affaires pour 3 coop&#xe9;ratives mod&#xe8;les du romarin et un en cours pour la coop&#xe9;rative du c&#xe8;dre; 5) la participation de 55 femmes &#xe0; un programme d&#x2019;alphab&#xe9;tisation; 6) la r&#xe9;alisation de 7 analyses d&#x2019;&#xe9;galit&#xe9; des genres d&#x2019;investissement pour les diff&#xe9;rents projets con&#xe7;us au profit des coop&#xe9;ratives b&#xe9;n&#xe9;ficiaires du projet.?</narrative>
     <narrative xml:lang="EN">Results achieved as of March 2025 include: (1) demonstrated lasting impact from training and awareness-raising activities through increased participation of women in economic decision-making. 83% of women who attended the training sessions report actively participating in economic decisions within their households. Additionally, 857 people, including 462 women, enrolled in SOCODEVI&#x2019;s Farmer Field School trainings; (2) consolidated gains for 432 cooperative members, including 232 women, on the importance and benefits of equitable relationships within the household, particularly regarding fair distribution of domestic tasks, positive masculinities, gender-based violence, and sustainable harvesting and processing operations for cedar and rosemary; (3) trained members from 5 cooperatives and 2 unions (68 members, including 10 women) on the PerformCoop Approach; (4) developed 3 business plans for 3 model rosemary cooperatives, and one in progress for the cedar cooperative; (5) supported the participation of 55 women in a literacy program; and (6) completed 7 gender equality investment analyses for various projects designed to benefit the cooperatives supported by the project.</narrative>
