       "": "Ce projet vise à soutenir les objectifs définis dans le Plan de développement national 2019 à 2023 du gouvernement de la Sierra Leone. Il vise à renforcer les capacités institutionnelles des principaux organes de gestion des élections, du système judiciaire et de la police, afin de mettre en œuvre et de superviser le cycle électoral 2022 à 2023. Il cherche à renforcer la transparence et l'inclusion, en veillant à ce que toutes les parties prenantes, notamment les femmes, les jeunes et les personnes en situation de handicap, soient impliqués tout au long du processus. Ce projet vise également à leur permettre d’évaluer et de vérifier, de manière indépendante, la crédibilité des processus électoraux.",

         "": "Parmi les résultats obtenus à la fin du projet (mai 2025) : 1) le renforcement des capacités de la Commission électorale de Sierra Leone, de la Commission de réglementation des partis politiques, du pouvoir judiciaire et de la Police afin d'améliorer la gestion des élections présidentielles et parlementaires de juin 2023; 2) l'amélioration de la transparence et la participation civique dans les processus électoraux, qui ont permis d'atteindre un taux de participation de 83 % aux élections présidentielles. Ce résultat est atteint grâce à un partenariat avec des organisations de la société civile qui a touché plus de 2,5 millions de citoyens, à l'engagement de 1 800 membres des comités locaux d'éducation électorale dans 448 localités de 16 districts, et à l'engagement responsable des médias, grâce à la plateforme de vérification des faits en ligne i-Verify. Ceci est fait en collaboration avec l'Association des journalistes de Sierra Leone qui a vérifié 328 demandes, contribuant ainsi à lutter contre la mésinformation et la désinformation; 3) l’amélioration de l'inclusion grâce à la diffusion d'informations sur les élections aux personnes handicapées, à la mobilisation de plus de 32 000 jeunes pour sensibiliser le public et promouvoir la paix, par l'intermédiaire de la Commission nationale de la jeunesse, et à la formation de 260 candidats politiques aux questions de genre et au mentorat de 90 femmes aspirant à une carrière politique. Ceci est fait pour encourager le soutien communautaire aux candidates féminines par le biais d'une campagne He4She menée en étroite collaboration avec les chefs traditionnels et religieux; 4) l’élection de 41 femmes au Parlement, ce qui représente 30,4 % de l'ensemble des candidats élus et une augmentation de 17,78 % par rapport aux élections précédentes. Le projet a également soutenu le Comité d'examen post-électoral et la création d'un centre permanent d'éducation civique et aux médias dans les locaux de la Commission électorale.",

         "": "Results achieved at end of the project (May 2025) include: (1) strengthened capacity of the Electoral Commission of Sierra Leone, the Political Party Regulation Commission, the Judiciary, and the Police to enhance the management of the June 2023 Presidential and Parliamentary elections; (2) increased transparency and civic engagement in the electoral processes, leading to an 83% voter turn out for the Presidential election’s polls. This results is achieved through a partnership with Civil Society Organizations. This helped to reach over 2.5 million citizens, engagement of 1800 Locality Electoral Education Committee members in 448 localities in 16 districts, and responsible media engagement, through the i-Verify online fact checking platform. This was done in collaboration with the Sierra Leone Association of Journalists which fact-checked 328 requests helping to combat misinformation and disinformation; (3) improved inclusion through dissemination of elections information to persons with disabilities, engaging over 32,000 youth to sensitize the public and promote peace through the National Youth Commission, and targeting 260 political candidates with gender training and mentoring 90 female political aspirants.
