       "": "El proceso de actualización del modelo económico y social de Cuba se inició en el 2011. Este proceso implica una reorientación de la política de empleo hacia un incremento del sector privado y una reorganización del sistema de protección social en el sentido de disminuir el excesivo paternalismo enfocando el apoyo a los grupos más necesitados. A su vez se aspira a aumentar la eficiencia de la economía cubana para salvaguardar los logros de la revolución en los campos de la educación y la salud y mejorar el nivel de prosperidad de la población. El papel de los sindicatos y las organizaciones de la sociedad civil en la implementación de estas nuevas políticas es preponderante y conlleva el reto de aumentar su representatividad y de adaptar su actuar el nuevo contexto. Será un reto preparar a los sindicalistas a defender los derechos de los trabajadores frente a un mundo de privatización que puede traer consigo peores condiciones de trabajo, contratos de trabajo desnaturalizados o la economía informal. FOS e IFSI van a contribuir con su programa a fortalecer a diferentes actores sociales: sindicatos, organizaciones de mujeres, movimientos, etc. para mejorar las condiciones de trabajo y vida para los/as trabajadores/as y la protección social de grupos poblacionales vulnerables. Las contrapartes son: la Central nacional CTC, los sindicatos nacionales de los trabajadores de la Construcción (SNTC), Industria Rama industria ligera (SNTI RIL) y metalúrgica (SNTI RMETAL), Industria alimentaria y pesca (SNTIAP) y del Azúcar (SNTA), la Federación de Mujeres Cubanas (FMC), los centros de referencia el Centro Nacional de Educación Sexual (CENESEX) y la Unidad de Promoción de la salud y Prevención de enfermedades (UPP), en diálogo y articulación con IFSI y FOS.",
