Subsequent projects under BBT Program will cover the remaining regions in the country. The targeted youth beneficiaries will be in two categories. The first consists of unemployed graduates who have completed post-secondary education (incubation). The second group is composed of youths who are already engaged in agribusiness but have no or limited access to commercial loans to grow their businesses (acceleration). \nThe project is expected to incubate and empower about 11,000 Agripreneurs out of which at least 6,000 youth owned agribusinesses are expected to be generated. Additionally, the project aims to facilitate access to finance for another 2,500 youth who are already engaged in agribusiness but have no or limited access to commercial loans to grow their businesses. Each of these youth-led agribusinesses is expected to employ, on average, five other support workers. \nIn addition the project will create more direct jobs from Block Farms development and management (land clearing, irrigation infrastructure development, procurement & installation of irrigation equipment, construction of youth housing & other farm infrastructures, Block Farms management and maintenance) and indirect jobs from Block Farms’ service providers (mechanization, fertilizers, seeds, agrochemicals, and financial institutions). Total direct and indirect jobs expected to be generated over the first 5 years of the project are estimated at 150,000. There will be at least 40% participation of female youth. All youth selected by the project will be those aged between 18 and 35 years with education from primary school to university/college levels. The indirect beneficiaries of the project are estimated at 1,800,000 people along the agri-food value chains, including input suppliers, producers, processors, transporters, traders, and consumers.","commitment":123545650,"spend":2077928.1,"commitment_eur":119315110,"spend_eur":1773076.2,"commitment_gbp":100040864,"spend_gbp":1538770.9,"commitment_cad":177813390,"spend_cad":2863142.2,"flags":0}],
