Le projet devrait permettre de raccorder au réseau électrique et de fournir de l’énergie électrique à base d’hydroélectricité et de gaz à : (i) 5 100 ménages soit 25 500 habitants ; (ii) 17 centres de santé ; (iii) 40 établissements scolaires ; (iv) 24 forages d’eau ; (iv) 38 centres administratifs et sociétés ; et (v) une zone commerciale. Son coût total hors taxes est évalué à 15,67 millions d’UC. Les principales réalisations attendues au terme des 48 mois de l’exécution du projet sont : (i) la construction de 305 km de réseaux de distribution en moyenne et basse tensions ; (ii) la réalisation de 71 postes de transformation MT/BT ; (iii) l’électrification de 59 nouvelles localités dont deux communautés rurales et deux chefs-lieux de districts ; (iv) la réalisation de 5 100 branchements ; (v) l’installation de 2 255 foyers d’éclairage public ; et (vi) le renforcement des capacités des structures publiques du sous-secteur de l’électricité. Le coût total du projet hors taxes et droits de douane est estimé à 15,67 millions d’UC dont 11,46 millions d’UC en devises (73,11%) et 4,21 millions d’UC en monnaie locale (26,89%).
