The aim of the project is to strengthen the digital networking of innovative, reform-minded participants in the MENA region and to arouse greater awareness of the potential and challenges of digital transformation beyond the start-up scene at the level of society as a whole. The aim is to strengthen the cross-sectoral strengthening of digital areas (EdTech, the digital cultural scene, digital policy-related communication, the responsible use of new media). The project thus aims to contribute to the positive shaping of the digital transformation in the MENA region and to exploit the potential of digitization for social change.

Ziel des Projektes ist es, die digitale Vernetzung innovativer, reformwilliger Akteure in der MENA-Region zu stärken und auch jenseits der Start-up-Szene auf gesamtgesellschaftlicher Ebene ein stärkeres Bewusstsein für Potenzial und Herausforderungen der digitalen Transformation zu wecken. Angestrebt ist eine spartenübergreifende Stärkung digitaler Bereiche (EdTech, digitale Kulturszene, digitale politikbezogene Kommunikation, verantwortungsbewusste Nutzung neuer Medien). Das Projekt soll damit zu einer positiven Gestaltung der digitalen Transformation in der MENA-Region beitragen und das Potenzial von Digitalisierung für gesellschaftlichen Wandel nutzen helfen.
