Preparation, testing and implementation of a roadmap for the computation of an index of industrial production (IPI) in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in a regular and sustainable manner. UNIDO received this request from the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT) of the UAE, and it is to be implemented in collaboration with the Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Centre (FCSC) and the Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting (GOIC). GOIC agreed to follow the existing Joint Declaration between GOIC and UNIDO.
