DESCRIPTION
The proposed project aims: To enhance the Sommalife software platform, that ensures transparency and traceability throughout the shea value chain, with AI and Machine Learning capabilities for efficient traceability conservation and monitoring. This will help reduce deforestation by protecting existing shea trees and training farmers to practice reforestation. To register 110,000 women farmers and 1,500 communities on the platform, train and connect 15,000 women farmers to fair international markets, and raise 50,000 early-maturing shea seedlings while establishing 1,500 acres of conservation parklands.
