The programme will employ a participatory community-based approach with emphasis on empowering target households to become more food secure. Capacity building and trainings for programme participants is central for reaching the objectives. Moreover, mobilization and organization of farmers and improving their access to seeds, water, tools, fingerlings, livestock and small loans is central components.
