General
This PSD apps project enables the organisation of a business seminar, that is one step in a long-term approach to stimulate trade, partnerships and investment and (thereby) the further development of the countries. This business seminar will help Dutch companies to explore the new investment and trade possibilities in both Liberia and Sierra Leone, as they can simultaneously gain from and contribute to rebuilding and (re-)developing the economies of Liberia and Sierra Leone. The Netherlands PSD instruments are being actively promoted, and ongoing initiatives like the customs and logistics project and the CBI cacao programme will be associated with the seminar. The seminar's format will ensure that it results in concrete follow-up by the companies and provides insight into the need for further government support.
