General
Atfalouna will establish a total of four inclusive GBV protection response points within displacement shelters, the sites of the points and shelters will be identified based on the site management working group reports that identifies shelters with gabs in the intervention. These points will provide safe spaces where women and girls who are survivors of at-risk of GBV can access support services, report incidents, and receive needed response and referrals. The focus on inclusivity ensures that women and girls with disabilities can access protection services without exclusion. These response points aim to enhance the safety and well-being of the conflict-affected women and girls with disabilities by addressing and preventing GBV in a timely and sensitive mannerز Provide clothes/shoes (including winter clothes) and assistive devices to at risk and affected childrenThrough this project there will be provision ofassistive devices and rehabilitation interventions to 210 women and girls with disabilities. The aim is to enhance their mobility, independence, and overall well-being by supplying essential tools such as wheelchairs, crutches, or hearing aids, and offering rehabilitation services tailored to their specific needs. These interventions help improvetheir access to services, reduce their vulnerability to GBV, and promote their inclusion and participation in community life. By addressing both physical and rehabilitation needs, the activity seeks to empower women and girls with disabilities and support their long-term recovery and resilience Cash for protection to 400 women and girls, both with and without disabilities, will be provided to help them meet urgent needs and reduce their vulnerability to Gender-Based Violence GBV. This intervention will be provided as part of the case management referrals. Cash assistance will be used to cover essential expenses such as sheltering needs, medical care, transportation, or clothes, which are critical in ensuring their safety and access to services. By empowering women and girls with financial resources, this intervention helps them gain more control over their situations, enhances their ability to seek protection, and reduces their reliance on potentially exploitative or dangerous coping mechanisms.
