Apollo Agriculture is an agri-fintech, established in Kenya and now expanding into Zambia, which has successfully pioneered the development of an integrated platform able to deliver agri-inputs, advisory and financial solutions. This combination of insured input credit and proven input packages has enabled Apollo’s client to increase farmer yields by up to 2.5x. While the platform makes strong use of digital technology to manage highly dispersed operations and credit risk management, it also leverages local agri-supply shops as agents to provide physical field presence as part of the Apollo solution.
