This project strengthens cooperation between the UK, Kenya and wider African partners to improve skills and coordination on responsible artificial intelligence. It brings together government officials, experts and civil society to exchange knowledge through research, regional meetings and a Kenya–UK policy exchange visit. The project supports the creation of thematic groups that develop practical guidance for public service, agriculture, health and other priority areas. By improving access to reliable information and promoting inclusive participation, it helps governments make informed decisions, contribute to global discussions and sustain long-term capacity for safe and development-focused use of artificial intelligence.
