Le projet vise à accroître le pouvoir économique des jeunes adultes, particulièrement les femmes vivant dans les régions plus défavorisées de la Tunisie. Les activités du projet comprennent: 1) appuyer les Instituts Supérieurs des Études Technologiques (ISET) dans le développement de programme de formation selon l’approche par compétence dans les secteurs de l’entretien des engins agricoles, l’écotourisme, les énergies renouvelables et l’agroalimentaire; 2) la mise sur pied d’un Bureau des relations avec les entreprises, y compris un service de placement des étudiants et des étudiantes, et un service de suivi des diplômés; 3) appuyer le réseau des ISET dans l’élaboration et la mise en œuvre de la stratégie sur l’égalité des genres valorisant la formation et l’employabilité des femmes diplômées; 4) fournir une formation technique et pédagogique aux femmes et aux hommes travaillant comme professeurs ou directeurs au sein du réseau ISET. Le projet prévoit bénéficier directement à 1200 diplômés (45 % femmes), 40 professeurs et 175 membres de personnel de direction au sein du réseau ISET, et à des professionnels de divers ministères ciblés. Le projet prévoit également bénéficier indirectement à 27 745 diplômés et leur famille pour un total d’environ 110 000 personnes (50% femmes).
The project aims to increase the economic power of young adults, particularly women living in the most disadvantaged regions of Tunisia. The project activities include: 1) support the Higher Institutes of Technological Studies (ISET) in the development of training program according to the competency-based approach in the sectors of maintenance of agricultural machinery, ecotourism, renewable energies and agrifood; 2) the establishment of a Business Relations Office, including a student placement service and a graduate monitoring service; 3) support the ISET network in the development and implementation of the gender equality strategy promoting the training and employability of female graduates; 4) provide technical and pedagogical training to women and men working as teachers or directors within the ISET network. The project plans to directly benefit 1200 graduates (45% women), 40 professors and 175 management staff within the ISET network, and professionals from various targeted ministries. The project also expects to indirectly benefit 27,745 graduates and their families for a total of about 110,000 people (50% women).

Parmi les résultats obtenus jusqu'en mars 2024 : 1) augmenté le taux des jeunes diplômés tunisiens ayant une perception positive de leur qualité de vie et de leurs perspectives économiques de 16,5 % à 20 % et 26 % chez les femmes interrogées; 2) augmenté le salaire mensuel moyen et moyen des diplômés de 683 et 812 dinars à 850 et 813 dinars; 3) augmenté le taux d'emploi des diplômés de 11. 4 % à 20 %; 4) formé 41 enseignants à des techniques académiques améliorées; à signaler que 90 % d'entre eux ont démontré de nouvelles compétences; 5) 100 % des employeurs interrogés ont déclaré que l'enseignement et la formation techniques et professionnels (EFTP) dispensés aux étudiants étaient pertinents pour leur entreprise et leur secteur; 6) effectué un partenariat avec 45 entreprises et organismes publics; 7) donné une assistance à 10 diplômés (13 % de femmes) pour devenir entrepreneurs de leur petite entreprise; 8) 95 % des employeurs ont déclaré avoir une évaluation positive de l'employabilité des diplômés; 9) l68 % des étudiants ciblés ont obtenu leur diplôme, dont 71 % de femmes; 10) organisé 1 forum sur l'écotourisme et 41 participants (18 femmes) ont bénéficié d'un renforcement de leurs capacités; 11) formé 810 membres du personnel académique à l'amélioration du soutien technique et académique de l'approche basée sur les compétences; 12) organisé plusieurs visites au Canada pour encourager le partage des connaissances et favoriser les réseaux entre les institutions universitaires canadiennes et tunisiennes participantes; 13) fourni à 139 étudiants (134 femmes) un encadrement professionnel individuel et un mentorat; 14) formé 1 248 étudiants sur des sujets liés à l'entrepreneuriat féministe; 15) facilité la signature de 37 accords entre des institutions universitaires tunisiennes et des entreprises, des associations d'entrepreneurs et des organisations publiques pour mieux aligner les programmes d'études universitaires sur les besoins de l'industrie; 16) organisé 17 sessions sur les approches académiques sensibles au genre, auxquelles ont assisté 690 participants (386 femmes); 17) formé 57 directeurs sur le leadership des femmes; 18) organisé 26 activités de sensibilisation sur l'égalité des genres et l'autonomisation économique et l'emploi des femmes; 19) facilité la signature de 28 accords entre des institutions d'enseignement technique supérieur (ISET) et des groupes de femmes.
Results achieved as of March 2024 include: (1) increased rate of young Tunisian graduates with a positive perception of their quality of life and economic prospects from 16.5% to 20%, 26% amongst women respondents; (2) increased the average and medium monthly salary of graduates from 683 and 812 dinar to 850 and 813 dinar; (3) increased employment rate of graduates from 11.4% to 20%; (4) trained 41 teachers in improved academic techniques; 90% of them demonstrated new skills; (5) 100% of surveyed employers reported the Technical and vocational education and training (TVET) provided to students was relevant to their enterprise and sector; (6) partnered with 45 companies and public bodies; (7) assisted 10 graduates (13% women) to become entrepreneurs of their small business; (8) 95% of employers reported having a positive assessment of graduates’ employability; (9) 68% of targeted students graduated, with 71% for women students; (10) held an ecotourism forum and provided capacity-building to 41 participants (18 women); (11) trained 810 academic personnel on improved technical and academic support for the competency-based approach; (12) organized multiple visits to Canada to encourage knowledge-sharing and foster networks between participating Canadian and Tunisian academic institutions; (13) provided 139 students (134 women) with individual professional coaching and mentoring; (14) trained 1,248 students on feminist entrepreneurial topics; (15) facilitated the signing of 37 agreements between Tunisian academic institutions and enterprises, entrepreneurial associations and public organizations to better align academic curriculums with industry needs; (16) held 17 sessions on gender-responsive academic approaches, attended by 690 participants (386 women); (17) trained 57 directors on women’s leadership; (18) held 26 awareness-raising activities on gender equality and women’s economic empowerment and employment; and (19) facilitated the signing of 28 agreements between Institutions of higher technical education (ISET) and women groups.
