Concrètement, le programme structure son action autour de «communautés engagées» qui s’impliquent pour dynamiser une force collective, un partage de savoirs, de compétences et de bienveillance autour de plans communautaires. Tous les acteurs qui ont la responsabilité des enfants sont impliqués (familles, voisins, communautés, écoles, grand public et acteurs étatiques). D’ici 5 ans, dans les zones d’intervention du programme, des communautés engagées seront autonomes pour développer : - Une qualité de vie meilleure pour tous permettant de sortir de la stratégie de survie ; sécurité alimentaire, santé de base, environnement préservé, accès à l’éducation de base et professionnelle - Une meilleure protection des enfants vulnérables ; enfants en situation de rue, les filles, enfants en domesticité, enfants maltraités, enfants expulsés de République Dominicaine, enfants en conflit avec la loi. - Des enfants davantage acteurs de leur propre développement.
