This activity details our work on Tetanus and Diphtheria in Sudan (the) through the provision of budget and transaction data. These documents describe the activities, the objectives as well as the beneficiaries.
General
Garantir la fiabilité et la pérennité des approvisionnements en vaccins pentavalent à des prix abordables. Une Vaccination systematique et une une aide au financement des vaccins antidiphtérique-antitétanique-anticoquelucheux (DTC), anti-hépatite B et anti-Haemophilius influenzae type b (Hib) depuis sa création. Cependant, pour remédier à la faible demande historique du vaccin anti-Hib dans nombre de pays, Gavi a également commencé à offrir le vaccin pentavalent en 2001. L’objectif était d’élargir la couverture par l’ajout des vaccins anti-Hib et anti-hépatite B dans le cadre de la vaccination systématique. En 2012, Gavi a décidé de n’attribuer une aide au financement des vaccins anti-hépatite B et anti-Hib que si ceux-ci étaient administrés au moyen du vaccin pentavalent cinq-en-un. Le pentavalent contient cinq vaccins différents dans une fiole et protège donc de cinq maladies : diphtérie, coqueluche, tétanos (DTC), hépatite B et Haemophilus influenzae type B (Hib). Successeur du vaccin DTC, il a été introduit pour accroître la couverture des vaccins anti-hépatite B et anti-Hib en les ajoutant au programme de vaccination systématique.
Gavi proivdes support to Tetanus vaccine. Available as monovalent tetanus toxoid (TT), in bivalent combination with diphtheria toxoid (DT) or low-dose diphtheria toxoid (Td), or as trivalent vaccine that also includes whole-cell (wP) or acellular (aP) pertussis vaccine.
