Vaccine and treatment for all The vaccine, once ready, will become the currency of life and death. This is the moment to ensure principles and plans are in place for the vaccine (once found) to be free and fairly distributed to everyone. There is a clear added value for Oxfam as there are hardly any other organizations who launched a campaign on this issue yet, and we have a good history of campaigning on access to medicine (though not recent). We are already engaged in ongoing lobby at both the national and global level; efforts that would be strengthened by public campaigning. People around the world see that a vaccine, free and fair for all is a matter of justice and would like to express their voice in this debate. This combined with work call to immediate suspension of debt payments and other financing mechanisms can help mobilise people in several countries and build a global movement to fight inequality.
