AU-5-INM610 Australia Aid The Impact Private Sector Partnerships (IPSP) program leverages private sector engagement for development and climate change solutions in the Indo-Pacific. IPSP consists of two complementary activities: the Business Partnerships Platform (BPP) and the Business Engagement Support Unit (BESU). BPP support partnerships between the Australian Government and inclusive businesses to create both development impacts and sustainable commercial returns through core business operations. BPP support businesses that create sustainable impact by: creating new products and services to improve lives; improving the productivity, inclusivity, or sustainability of value chains; supporting the expansion of inclusive business practices. The BESU uplifts DFAT's engagement with the private sector by providing an expert 'HelpDesk' connected to a network of global experts.
