       "": "Le projet vise à soutenir l'autonomisation économique et la résilience des agricultrices dans la région de Casamance au Sénégal en renforçant leur accès à l’assurance agricole comme mesure d’atténuation face aux changements climatiques. Le projet met l’accent sur l'offre de produits et de services financiers adaptés aux besoins des femmes agricultrices et renforce leur capacité à leur accéder et à les utiliser.  Les activités du projet comprennent : 1) former et accompagner les agricultrices à pouvoir accéder et utiliser des produits et deservices financiers, dont les assurances agricoles; 2) renforcer les capacités des coopératives de base et des institutions financières régionales à adapter leurs offres de produits et de services aux besoins des femmes; 3) élaborer et mettre en œuvre un modèle d’affaires innovant de distribution d’assurances agricoles aux femmes et à leurs groupements; 4) renforcer les capacités de la Compagnie Nationale d’Assurance Agricole du Sénégal (CNAAS) et des institutions financières nationales à développer et à offrir des produits et des services adaptés aux besoins spécifiques des femmes.  Le projet est mis en œuvre par SOCODEVI à l’aide de deux partenaires locaux, soit la CNAAS et l’Organisation de Formation et d’Appui au Développement (OFAD/Nafoore).  Les bénéficiaires indirects sont estimés à environ 900 000 personnes constituant la population de l’ensemble des ménages dont font partie les bénéficiaires directes qui représentent 7000 femmes membres de 150 groupements à vocation agricole (GFVA) dans les régions rurales de la Casamance.",

       "": "The project seeks to support the economic empowerment and resilience of women farmers in Senegal’s Casamance region by improving their access to agricultural insurance as a way to mitigate the impact of climate change. The project focuses on the availability of financial products and services tailored to the needs of women farmers and enhances their ability to access and use them.  Project activities include : (1) Providing training and support to women farmers so they can access and use financial products and services, including agricultural insurance; (2) building the capacity of grassroots cooperatives and regional financial institutions to tailor their range of products and services to the needs of women; (3) developing and implementing an innovative business model for distributing agricultural insurance to women and women’s groups; and (4) building the capacity of the Compagnie Nationale d’Assurance Agricole du Sénégal (CNAAS, Senegal’s national agricultural insurance company) and national financial institutions to develop and provide products and services tailored to the specific needs of women.  The project is being delivered by SOCODEVI with the help of two local partners, the CNAAS and the Organisation de Formation et d’Appui au Développement (OFAD/Nafoore).  The indirect beneficiaries are estimated at approximately 900,000 people making up the population of all the households to which the direct beneficiaries belong, who represent 7,000 women members of 150 agricultural groups (GFVA) in the rural regions of Casamance.",

         "": "Parmi les résultats obtenus jusqu’en mars 2025 : 1) le renforcement des capacités de 7850 femmes, dont 385 femmes leaders membres de coopératives agricoles, en éducation financière et sur différentes thématiques. Ceux-ci comprennent la participation de l’homme et de la femme au sein du ménage, la prise de décisions concertées, les violences basées sur le genre, la formation sur le leadership et la masculinité positive; 2) la formation des membres de 24 coopératives et 19 institutions financières sur la promotion d’itinéraires techniques d’agriculture intelligente face au climat; 3) la création d’ un guide imagé de l’itinéraire technique du riz de basfond, des vidéos en plusieurs langues locales et des posters confectionnés pour sensibiliser sur 4 mesures environnementales : la pratique de l’agroforesterie, le respect des dosages et de la rémanence des produits en agriculture, la combinaison engrais organique-engrais minéral, la culture sur brûlis; 4) l’application par la Compagnie nationale d'assurances agricoles du Sénégal (CNAAS) de la discrimination positive à l’égard des femmes sur les produits d’assurance agricole avec une réduction de 20 % sur les primes des produits agricoles et 10 % sur les produits d’élevage. Cependant, malgré les efforts de communication réalisés par le projet, le portefeuille client de la CNAAS a baissé de 27 % du fait de plusieurs raisons exogènes, passant de 844 497 clients en 2023 à 613 147 en 2024; 5) l’adhésion de 83888 producteurs, dont 34,8 % de femmes, comme clients assurés par la CNAAS. Comparé à l’objectif de fin de projet de 100 000 assurés, la CNAAS est à 83,9 % de réalisation et 81 % de réalisation sur l’objectif de 36 000 femmes assurées; 6) l’octroi de 257 815 000 FCFA (soit environ CAN 615 000 $) de prêts aux femmes et couverts par l’assurance agricole dans les zones ciblées du sud et du centre.",
