DESCRIPTION
Der UN-Multi-Partner-Treuhandfonds für menschliche Sicherheit in der Aralsee-Region in Usbekistan (MPHSTF) verfolgt das Ziel, Risiken für die soziale, wirtschaftliche, ernährungsbezogene und gesundheitliche Sicherheit der vulnerablen Bevölkerung in der Aralsee-Region zu mindern und dient als Plattform für die internationale Entwicklungszusammenarbeit in Usbekistan. Folgende Ziele sollen für die lokale Bevölkerung erreicht werden: die Senkung der Umweltbelastungen, die Verbesserung der Beschäftigungs- und Einkommensmöglichkeiten, verbesserter Zugang zu geeigneten Lebensmitteln und Trinkwasser, Verbesserung des Gesundheitszustandes und die Verbesserung der Lebensbedingungen, insbesondere für gefährdete Gruppen wie Frauen, Kinder und Jugendliche.
The Multi-Partner Human Security Trust Fund for the Aral Sea Region in Uzbekistan has the aim to reduce risks regarding social, economic, food security and health factors of for the vulnerable population at the region of the aralsea. The Fund is also a platform for development cooperation in Uzbekistan. These are the specific aims: reducing environmental pollution, improvement of income opportunities, better access to drinking water, improvement of health and general living conditions, especially for vulnerabe persons like women, children and youths.
