1. Development of a conservation strategy and professional conservation-restoration of the salt mummies. Transfer of the obtained methodological approach and results to the other mummies in the holdings of the Zolfaghari Museum and the Tehran National Museum. 2. Modernisation of the presentation and change in the perception of the Saltmen by the visitor public through public presentation of the conservation-restoration process. Development of a guideline for current and future exhibition concepts. 3. Development of a book for children and young people, which presents the history of salt and the people of the region in a clear, entertaining and playful way. In several language versions (Persian, English, German) this book can be distributed in Iran but also in museums of the partners.

1. Erstellung einer Erhaltungsstrategie und Vornahme einer fachgerechten Konservierung-Restaurierung der Salzmumien. Übertragung des gewonnenen methodischen Ansatzes und der Ergebnisse auf die anderen Mumien im Bestand des Zolfaghari Museums und des Teheraner Nationalmuseums. 2. Modernisierung der Vermittlung und Veränderung der Wahrnehmung der Salzmänner durch die Besucheröffentlichkeit durch eine öffentliche Vermittlung der Erhaltungsaufwendungen. Entwicklung einer Handreichung für aktuelle und zukünftige Ausstellungskonzeptionen. 3. Entwicklung eines Buches für Kinder und Jugendliche, welches die Geschichte des Salzes und der Menschen der Region anschaulich, unterhaltsam und spielerisch darstellt. In den entsprechenden Sprachfassungen (Persisch, Englisch, Deutsch) kann dieses Buch im Iran aber auch in Museen der Partner vertrieben werden.
