The ongoing conflict in Yemen has continued to exacerbate humanitarian needs. Populations throughout the country, among whom the most vulnerable internally displaced persons (IDPs), migrants, returnees and conflict affected host community members, are in dire need of humanitarian assistance. In order to ensure the most vulnerable receive assistance that meets their most pressing needs, timely, accurate and reliable data is required to inform the humanitarian response, ultimately ensuring assistance provided is effective. With the support of the Government of Canada, IOM in Yemen continues to provide humanitarian actors with critical and timely information on IDPs and returnees to support an informed humanitarian response. IOM’s Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) is developing a range of information products including Rapid Displacement Tracking (RDT), Flow Monitoring Registry (FMR), Flow Monitoring Survey (FMS), Intention Surveys and Area Assessment (AA) under mobility tracking reports, as well as datasets and dashboards to help prioritize humanitarian interventions and transition and recovery activities in Yemen.
