Oxfam is a global organization that fights inequality to end poverty and injustice. This grant to Oxfam America will support Oxfam’s implementation of the Women’s Economic Empowerment and Care (WE-Care) program in Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda, and Zimbabwe, and support opportunities for influencing unpaid care and domestic work in regional and global spaces. The WE-Care program works to increase women’s and girls’ time and choice to participate in economic, political, and social life by transforming how unpaid care and domestic work is valued, shared, and invested in through supporting civil society and women’s rights organizations, educating men and boys and religious and cultural leaders, and conducting policy influencing.
