Sida har stöttat KAMER sedan 2005 då projektet "An opportunity fo every women in the Southeast and East Anatolia" initierades. Denna fas är en fortsättning med syfte att i större utsträckning göra det möjligt för kvinnor i de 23 provinserna i sydöstra och östra Turkiet där KAMER är verksamma att dra lika stor nytta av sina mänskliga rättigheter som män samt att ha lika stora möjligheter att delta i samhället. Detta genom att skapa medvetenhet kring kvinnors mänskliga rättigheter och kring könsbaserad diskriminering och könsbaserat våld samt genom att arbeta förebyggande mot traditionella sedvänjor som är skadliga för kvinnor och barn. KAMER kommer även att verka för utveckling och genomförande av politik för eliminering av könsbaserad diskriminering och hedersrelaterat våld med målet att stärka kvinnors sociala, individuella och ekonomiska egenmakt.
