Objectives
Bidra till delmålen inom Strategi för innovation, partnerskap och kapacitetsutveckling 20242028; Svensk tjänstgöring på strategiska positioner i internationella organisationer: 1) Stärkt svensk representation på strategiska positioner inom regeringens prioriterade tematiska och geografiska områden och organisationer (inklusive EU:s, FN:s och de multilaterala utvecklingsbankernas institutioner) bland annat genom sekunderingar. 2) Ökad användning och återföring av svensk kompetens och erfarenheter från det internationella utvecklingssamarbetet.
General
Insatsen bidrar till Sveriges åtagande att bidra till genomförandet av Agenda 2030 i utvecklingsländer genom att tillhandahålla personal som arbetar med och genom FN organens och Världsbankens olika mandat. För detta ändamål har Sverige ett nära samarbete med FN:s utvecklings; humanitära och fredsbevarande pelare med placeringar runt om i världen. Insatsen bidrar även till Strategin för Innovation, partnerskap och kapacitetsutveckling 2024-2028. Tjänsterna som ska finansieras är som följer: EOSG New York, 24P116 JPO in Sustainable Development OCHA New York, 22P154 OCHA Oversight and Compliance OCHA Gaza, 22P160- JPO in Humanitarian Affairs, OAD OHCHR Beirut, 23P291 JPO in Human Rights RCO Yerevan, 22P223 RCS JPO in Programme Mgmt (Human Rights) RCO Guatemala City, 23P197 JPO in Programme Mgmt UNODC Istanbul, 24P054 JPO in Programme Development.
Sweden is committed to contribute to the implementation of Agenda 2030 in developing countries by providing human resources to work with and through the diverse mandates of UN agencies, funds and programmes, as well as the World Bank. for this purpose, Sweden closely collaborates with the UN development, humanitarian and peacekeeping pillars with placements around the world. The contribution further aims at fulfilling the Strategy for innovation, partnership, and capacity development 2024-2028.
