.Målet med insatsen är att Migrationsverket ska genomföra en sonderingsmission till Azerbajdzjan i syfte att skapa kontakter och kontextförståelse, inför ett eventuellt utarbetande av förslag till genomförande av EU Twinning-uppdrag. Sonderingsmissioner bedöms skapa
förståelse för Twinning-samarbetspartnerns behov och önskemål, och underlätta för svenska myndigheter att bidra till kapacitetsutveckling hos offentliga institutioner i länder utanför EU, genom EU Twinning.
The purpose of the contributions is for the Swedish Migration Board to conduct an initial fact-finding mission to Azerbaijan in order to make connections and contextual understanding, before a possible EU Twinning proposal. Such missions, are considered valuable for the Swedish agency to understand the needs and requests from the partner, and facilitate Swedish public agencies’ contribution to capacity development of public institutions in countries outside the EU, through EU Twinning.
Objectives
Efter sonderingsmissionen ska myndigheten skaffat sig kontextuella kunskaper för den
kommande twinningfichen och därmed kunna ta ställning till och utforma ett relevant
projektförslag när EU publicerar denna.
