RESLOG 2 (Resilience in Local Governance 2) is a local governance project to be implemented in Lebanon and Turkey with funding from the Regional Strategy for the Syrian crisis. RESLOG 2 is planned for an implementation period of 32 months, with a planned starting date in May 2022, and a budget of SEK 80 000 000 incl. of VAT. The geographical scope is similar to the previous phase RESLOG 1 with key partners being Unions of Municipalities and its members in Akkar governorate in Lebanon and in Marmara and Cukorova in Turkey

RESLOG 2 (Resilience in Local Governance 2) är ett lokalt styrningsprojekt som ska implementeras i Libanon och Turkiet med finansiering från den Regionala Strategin för Syrienkrisen. RESLOG 2 är planerad för en implementeringsperiod på 32 månader, med planerat startdatum i maj 2022, och en budget på 80 000 000 SEK inkl. moms. Den geografiska omfattningen liknar den tidigare fasen RESLOG 1, med nyckelpartners som kommunförbund och deras medlemmar i Akkar guvernement i Libanon, och i Marmara och Cukorova i Turkiet

The impact goal of RESLOG2 is defined as: Selected municipalities in Akkar, Lebanon and in Türkiye have become more resilient through strengthened municipal governance, including improved abilities to provide more equal access to services, livelihood opportunities and means for peaceful co-habitation to women and men from Syrian refugee and local communities The three overall outcomes contributing to the impact goal are: 1) Strengthen provision of municipal services and peaceful cohabitation through fostering of active citizenship, 2) More decent and greener local livelihood opportunities for women and men in refugee and local communities 3)Turkish local government actors have become more systematic and effective in contributing to migration policy matters of concern (Only Türkiye) The three outcomes are further operationalised through intermediate outcomes. SALAR presents in the proposal a detailed description of the strategies applied under each expected intermediate outcome and submitted as annex a detailed work plan.
