Mozambique has requested Norwegian expertise within the area of Integrated Ocean management and environment .The Norwegian Environment Agency coordinates the work in Norway with the development of Integrated ocean management plans and has special expertise in this area. As part of the development of the planned institutional cooperation under the Ocean for Development programme between Norway and Mozambique, the Norwegian Environment Agency will participate in a fact-finding mission to Mozambique. The main deliverable from the fact-finding mission will be a final report which will provide insight and a basis for the possibilities of the development of an institutional collaboration between the Norwegian Environment Agency and relevant Mozambican government institutions under the Ocean for Development programme.
