DESCRIPTION
Supporting Socio-Economic Development & Recovery in Northern Mozambique - Promoting Market Adaptations and Resilient Ecosystems (Pro-MARE). Pro-MARE will support socio-economic development and livelihood recovery of 31 500 armed conflict affected people with an emphasis on strengthening agricultural value chains, including promotion of climate smart agricultural technologies and building sustainable rural market systems linkages by establishing producers’ groups on one hand and organizing private sectors actors in the area other by means of both digital tools but also physical fora to enable outreach. The program will have special focus on youth and women in the districts of Chiure, Mecufi, Erati and Memba.
