DESCRIPTION
The main intended impact of this project is to build community resilience against radicalization and violent extremism in the province of Cabo Delgado in Northern Mozambique, with a special focus on the marginalized and disenfranchised women and youths. By creating livelihood opportunities and sustainable socioeconomic empowerment of the women and youth, this initiative will increase the resilience of the local communities, and thus contribute to prevent their populations from being enticed to join the violent extremists that are undertaking brutal attacks in the region.
