DESCRIPTION
Compro Nossa - Boosting the national economy by supporting local businesses. Awareness campaign to encourage and stimulate the consumption of national products and brands as opposed to imported, thus generating income and business sustainability, and contributing to the country's economic development and post-covid recovery. Approach to promote the consumption of national products, brands, and services by encouraging people to “buy local” and “buy national” with Mozambican SMEs supplying world-class products, services and brands to Mozambican consumers who are proud to buy local. This will be achieved by stimulating and promoting the consumption of national products, services and brands, and at the same time better equip local businesses with the necessary tools to adapt their businesses to a new reality and increase sales by gaining access to markets through exposure and increased visibility. Gender is an important project focus with “Visibility and access to market increased for Mozambican SMEs with a focus on transformative sectors and women-led businesses” and “strong representation of women, and emphasising women entrepreneurs as role models in showcases and campaign materials” as goals.
