DESCRIPTION
The objective is to strengthen capacities and knowledge of national, regional and local journalists and communicators, influencers, artists, the general public, and presidential and congressional candidates in understanding the challenges and opportunities regarding development in the forested areas of Colombia, so that citizens can vote in an informed way in the 2022 elections. In addition, the project looks to share with neighbouring countries how Colombia has positioned deforestation issues on the national agenda. IMPACT: Greater ownership of the general public about the opportunities and challenges of being a forested country in the face of the 2022 elections.
