CMI! seeks to invest in the autonomy and capacity of marginalized women, girls and trans* people –including but not limited to indigenous and rural women, sex workers, LB women, HIV+ women and other groups of women, girls and trans* people that experience multiple layers of discrimination – organized in women’s rights organizations (WROs), movements and as women human rights defenders (WHRDs) to act as change agents and effectively lobby and advocate for the prevention and elimination of gender-based violence, for economic justice, and for sustainable resourcing of women’s rights organisations and movements.
