Objectives
1. By 2020, children in selected areas in Thailand are equipped to protect themselves and others from CSEC, particularly exploitation in travel and tourism, trafficking and online (Thai and non-Thai children including migrant, stateless and ethnic minorities). 2. By 2020, targeted communities are safer, offer better protection to child victims and children at risk and are less tolerant towards CSEC. 3.a) By 2020, Thai government (policy makers, law enforcement agencies) provides adequate services to victims of CSEC. 3. b) By 2020, Thai government effectively facilitates prevention and protection of child victims and children at risk. 4. By 2020, two private sector industries (ICT and Tourism) are actively engaged in the protection against CSEC.
General
Down to Zero Programme: End commercial sexual exploitation of children (CSEC) in 11 countries by empowering children at risk and victims of CSEC in targeted communities and by ensuring protective environments for these children.
Target Groups
The activity targets Children (potential victims and victims of CSEC),Communities, including parents, community leaders, traditional leaders, religious leaders and other key leaders; local and national government agencies; and private sector parties, including local businesses. Ultimate beneficiaries of this activity are children.
