General
The two associations have decided to collaborate on developing common objectives, in particular those that support a world based onrelationships of solidarity and greater justice. The two associations agree that respect for Human Rights, including the Rights of Women and Children, forms part of their commitment, as well as respect for Social and Economic Rights for everyone. The Action that is subject to the present agreement is a contribution towards these objectives, but it cannot be considered as thesole link that unites the three associations. The partner-LDPA and Oxfam-in-Laos undertake to build a relationship that reinforces each party’s work and skills, while developing each organisation’s respective strategies. By way of an example, LDPA is interested in taking part in activities that heighten awareness among the Laos public, by sending personnel and/or equipment in relation to the issue concerned by the Action. LDPA would also like to take part in the discussions held by the Oxfam in Laoson Strategic Reflections connected with the action
