General
The purpose of this action is to meet the emergency needs of cyclone AMPHAN affected women and men in the worst affected Satkhira and Khulna districts. The action focuses on water, sanitation, hygiene promotion (WASH) for 22,250 affected households (Result 1), emergency shelter Non-food items (NFIs) for 3,000 households (Result 2), and food security <(>&<)> livelihood support for 10,850 households through cash -based programming (Mobile Money Transfer - MMT cash delivery) (Result 3) as appropriate to meetthe target households' and community needs. The priorities of the action are based on the recent rapid needs assessment. The specific objective is toenable the most vulnerable cyclone AMPHAN affected people to ensure food security, WASH, shelter NFI and other basic needs, while taking account of the risks of Covid 19.

Emergency food assistanceProvision and distribution of food; cash and vouchers for the purchase of food; non-medical nutritional interventions for the benefit of crisis-affected people, including refugees and internally displaced people in developing countries in emergency situations. Includes logistical costs. Excludes non-emergency food assistance (52010), food security policy and administrative management (43071), household food programmes (43072) and medical nutrition interventions (therapeutic feeding) (72010 and 72011).
Basic drinking water supply and basic sanitationProgrammes where components according to 14031 and 14032 cannot be identified. When components are known, they should individually be reported under their respective purpose codes: water supply [14031], sanitation [14032], and hygiene [12261].
