The consortium of three local actors will implement the Humanitarian Response Grant Facility project to address Covid-19 and gender based violence issues in Karamoja. The main objectives are: 1. People in areas that do not pick the FM frequencies and be reached through public address systems. Therefore Caritas and consortium members will do it for 20 days. 50,000 community members will be reached. 1.2 Provide Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for highly exposed individuals: COVID-19 is a very highly infectious disease with an incubation period of 2-14 days, Very high morbidity (100%) and mortality rate between 15% - 20%.
