Centre for Supporting Green Development (GreenHub) is a Vietnamese, non-governmental, not-for-profit organization under the VietnamUnion of Science and Technology Associations (Vusta) with oversight by the Ministry of Science <(>&<)> Technology, and NGO Registration Number A-1555. GreenHub was legally established on March 15, 2016. GreenHub#s programmes focus on the use of environmentally-friendly practices by agricultural cooperatives and SMEs, strengthening supply chain links in agricultural production, andpromoting green lifestyle in consumption. Although newly established, GreenHub has provided technical support for 60 groups, including 13 ethnicminorities in 16 mountainous provinces in the North, Central Highlands and South of Vietnam, registered to beinvolved programme of poverty reduction though economic empowerment of ethnic minority communities. GreenHub supported the groups in developing cooperative groups, providing access to loans, connecting to business partners and product development. GreenHubbrings to this project in-depth knowledge Vietnam#s agriculture development and strong experience of developing the quality monitoring principles with SMEs and working with SSPs in the field.

This project works with impact-driven SMEs in the agriculture value chains that are creating social impact to SSPs. The project targets those SMEs that want to improve their business management, are eager to pursue sustainable production methods, want toimprove quality monitoring of their supply chain and want to use technology for traceability of their products. The project aims to: 1) support SMEs to improve their business management for sustainable development by giving training and tailored businessdevelopment services (BDS); 2) support SMEs to prepare for accessing investments (impact investors or conventional capital providers) to scale their business; 3) pilot application of advanced technology on quality monitoring and product traceability with SMEs and SSPs 4) contribute to enforcement of favourable conditions / policies for impact-driven SMEs in Vietnam GreenHub brings to this project in-depth knowledge Vietnam#s agriculture development and strong experience of developing the quality monitoring principles with SMEs and working with SSPs in the field.
