MEPT - Education For All Moviment
MEPT - Education For All Moviment, is a forum that brings together Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), associations and individuals who work and / or are interested in education, with the aim of strengthening civil society actions in favor of Education for All(EFA), contributing to the institutionalization of positive experiences developed by them and outlining joint actions in the field of Education. MEPT emerged in 1999 following the preparation of the participation in the meeting of the WorldEducation Forum held in Dakar, Senegal in 2000. The vision of the MEPT is to have a country where all children, young people and adults have access to an education basic quality, without any kind of discrimination. MEPT is a member of the Africa Network Campaign on Education for All (ANCEFA) and Global Campaign for Education (GCE), and the coordinator of the Global Education Action Week activities.

MEPT Movimento de Educação para Todos, is a forum that brings together Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), associations and individuals who work and / or are interested in education, with the aim of strengthening civil society actions in favor of Educationfor All (EFA), contributing to the institutionalization of positive experiences developed by them and outlining joint actions in the field of Education. MEPT emerged in 1999 following the preparation of the participation in the meeting of the World Education Forum held in Dakar, Senegal in 2000. The vision of the MEPT is to have a country where all children, young people and adults have access to an education basic quality, without any kind of discrimination. MEPT is a member of the Africa Network Campaign on Education for All(ANCEFA) and Global Campaign for Education (GCE), and the coordinator of the Global Education Action Week activities. Taking advantage of the MEPT's strategic position at the country and regional levels, the project will use MEPTas a advocacy platform to improve the quality of public education services and ensure the engagement of civil society so that government consider increasing the funding of public education services and that resources allocated to the sector can be managed in a transparent manner. MEPT will also serve as a bridge between civil society organizations and government through the Ministry of Education, gathering and systematizing evidence to influence policy makers on best practices and educational policies.
