(YAKAP) is a non-governmental organization registered with Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), licensed and accredited by DSWD as a social development and welfare agency #community-based in Region IV-A (CALABARZON) and accredited #donee# institution by the Philippine Council fof NGO CertiNC. YAKAP is working with its (8) parent association-members / clusters in Batangas, Laguna, and to facilitate protection and development program for children and youth and theirfamilies in respective areas of operation.

General
The goal of the project is to assist in the prevention of sexual abuse against girl children and reduce incidence of teen-age pregnancy by engaging multi-stakeholders including those who have gotten pregnant despite anti-teenage pregnancy campaigns. It will promote a rights-based, age-appropriate sexual education and ensure access to various health and social services for teenage mothers. Activities include Validation Study of Teen-age Pregnancy Situationer / Profiles, Situationer Analysis and Planning Workshops of Stakeholders: Pregnant and Mother Teen-agers and their Parents and Barangay Officials and other Stakeholders , Conduct and Assessment of Child Rights and Women#s Rights Advocacy Sessions and Comprehensive Age-Appropriate Sexuality <(>&<)> Reproductive Health Education,Formalized and Monitored Linkages and Partnership Building with Other Entities for the Provision of Services to Teen-age Mothers, Conduct of Motherhood and Child Care Education for Teen-Age Mothers and Foster Parents, Monitoring / Counselling of Pregnant <(>&<)> Teen-age Mothers and Psycho- Social Interventions and Advocacy on Special Protection Help Desk for Pregnant and Mother Teen-agers,Child Minding Centres and Community-based Foster Parenting, Regular Staff and Volunteers Development Sessions and Project Evaluation and Planning Workshops.
